Help the WCPA Conservation and Recreation Committees plant trees at Knox Grove!
Knox Grove is a popular playground and picnic area in Washington Crossing State Park. This area has lost many trees in recent years to storms and disease, leaving very little shade to protect parkgoers from the summer heat. On November 7, we will be planting 35 native trees to provide shade and restore habitat for wildlife. We hope you will join us!
Ages 16+. Bring a shovel if you have one. We will provide extra gloves and tools.
Enter at the main entrance and turn right at the stop sign. Drive around the hairpin turn and you’ll see the signs for Knox Grove on your right, after about 3/4 mile.
