Public Notice:

PURPOSE: The Washington Crossing Park Association, Inc. (WCPA) is seeking funding through the State of New Jersey Green Acres Program for improvements at Washington Crossing State Park located at 355 Washington Crossing – Pennington Rd, Titusville NJ 08650, near the intersection of that road and Route 29, in Hopewell Township.

PROJECT SCOPE: The WCPA proposes to renovate the following facilities at Washington Crossing State Park: to establish native wildflower meadows, conduct invasive species control, remove diseased and standing and fallen dead trees, and restore critical forest along historic Continental Lane that have been damaged by storms and disease. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and a list of the trees proposed to be removed can be found here.

The Park is undergoing a once-in-a-generation restoration. Last year park historians led a webinar entitled, "Washington Crossing State Park: The Future Unveiled!"

The new Museum and the old Visitors Center are closed for construction. The Nature Center, the Johnson Ferry House, all Park Trails, and a few restrooms remain open.
