The Park is undergoing a once-in-a-generation restoration project, which will include millions of dollars worth of capital improvements such a new roads, updated signage, restored buildings, and this stunning new Visitors Museum.

In June of 2025, the WCPA and state park historians Clay Craighead and Mark Sirak led a webinar entitled, "Washington Crossing State Park: The Future Unveiled!" It’s an extensive look at the new Museum and other changes coming to the Park.

Special thanks to Kim Ha and our partners at the Pennington Library, who co-hosted the event and created this recording for all.

A model of the new museum. Come by the current Visitors Center to see it in person! While there you can take a look at The Swan Historical Foundation’s collection of artifacts, which will find a worthy home in the new building.

The Swan is proud to be a partner and sponsor of America’s 250th Anniversary, and is looking forward to the restoration of the New Jersey State Park and this beautiful new state-of-the-art structure.
