TWO Trail Stewards Work Days!

Kevin and the Trail Stewards are now working twice a month…once on a Thursday and once on a Saturday! This month we’ll be working on Thursday, October 19th and Saturday October 28th at 8:45 AM. You chose to work on the Trails, or on Invasive Species Removal on both days!

Tools are provided. Participants should wear sturdy work clothes and boots. Once you complete your initial training you’ll receive our fantastic WCPA Trail Stewards t-shirt. First-time volunteers should arrive at the Park’s Nature Center at 8:30 am to fill out a bit of paperwork.

Clean Communities Day

Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space is sponsoring their annual Clean Communities Day SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14th. Join our WCPA Team to clean trash from the entire perimeter of the Park.

We’ll meet at the Hopewell Township Public Works Building where they'll distribute gloves, bags and those beautiful orange vests! Email us to sign up, or for more information.

RACES AT THE PARK

The Bucks County Triathlon Club is holding two great races at the park in October…their fantastic Trails4Tails Fest, which benefits rescue pups, and their WXT Ultra Trail Races, which benefits our gorgeous park! Click on each image to learn more and register for these great events.

FREE GUIDED HISTORY TOURS

Tickets are free but must be reserved on EventBrite. Our final two tours for 2023 are Sundays, October 15 and October 29 at 1pm. These tours are selling out, so reserve by using the link below!

OUR FIRST ANNUAL FUNDRAISER!

Our first annual Fundraiser Dinner and Silent Auction at Gravity Hill Farm was a big success, thanks to all of you who purchased tickets, as well as the generous donors who made the day possible. Here are a few photos of a lovely afternoon that raised nearly $10k in support of the park. THANK YOU ALL.
