Barbara Beckley, right, was the winner of our April Walking Stick Member Raffle! It was a lucky pick…Barbara is a long-time volunteer at the park, who often works at the Nelson House in colonial garb. She drives nearly an hour away to support us, and we’re so grateful for her dedication!
A special thanks goes to our trustee, Stan Saperstein from Artisans of the Valley, for his donation of this beautiful rams head walking stick. Stan’s folk-art sticks are valued at hundreds of dollars, and several are in museums around the country.
Stay tuned for an upcoming raffle centered around his latest “George Washington” walking stick!
The Park is embarking upon a once-in-a-generation restoration of roads, structures and amenities. Email us with any questions…we’re happy to discuss. Or click here to learn about the new Visitors Museum.
